Rumford Fire Department offers fire extinguisher training to the general public.

Students will learn how to safely and effectively extinguish fires with portable fire extinguishers

This  class meets or exceed OSHA requirements for fire extinguisher training in the workplace.

The class consists of a classroom lecture and a practical hands-on fire extinguishing evolution using an extinguisher.
